Samathakkhandhaka

The Samathakkhandhaka, “the Chapter on the settling of legal issues”, gives a detailed description of how the principles for the resolution of legal issues (the <i lang='pi' translate='no'>adhikaraṇasamathadhamma</i>), the last seven “rules” of the Monastic Code, are to be applied in practice. The chapter includes a technical discussion on the nature of the four kinds of legal issues.
